Kapitał ludzki przedsiębiorców jako kryterium decyzyjne w inwestycjach funduszy venture capital

Artykuł zawiera przegląd badań na temat wagi kapitału ludzkiego w ocenie przedsiębiorców przez fundusze venture capital. Punktem wyjścia były podstawowe teorie związane z tym zagadnieniem: teoria kapitału ludzkiego, teoria firmy oraz teoria naczelnego kierownictwa. Wskazano, jakie cechy przedsiębiorców, menedżerów i ich zespołów używane są do mierzenia jakości tego kapitału w decyzjach podejmowanych przez fundusze VC. Wskazano również uwarunkowania tej oceny, w tym cykl życia firmy, branżę, kraj i specyfikę procesu inwestycyjnego, a także związek tych charakterystyk z wynikami firm. Przedstawiono szkic ewolucji badań nad tym zagadnieniem, w tym najnowsze koncepcje związane z psychologiczną krytyką racjonalności decyzji. Artykuł dowodzi, że kapitał ludzki jest słusznie wskazywany jako jedno z najważniejszych kryteriów w decyzjach podejmowanych przez fundusze VC.
